This picture was taken just moments after trapping Heff in October 2016. I’d driven for what seemed like endless hours around Pennsylvania before finding this juvenile. You can see from the photo that he doesn’t have his final equipment and jesses on yet, and the hood I brought (big enough for the large female I’d hoped to trap) was far too big for him! But enough to keep him calm when transporting him back home and beginning training.
